These guys are honest!! I was in New Jersey/New York and my family had the same mechanic 30 plus years. I moved to Hallettsville!! I knew no one. These guys are great!! I know nothing about cars. Nothing! My "Service Engine Soon" light came on. I took it to them. Anthony checked it out for me. He could have sold me the Brooklyn Bridge!! I need my vehicle for work!! He checked things out. Asked if I had gotten gas that day. I was thinking the worse. I said, "Yes." He went out and tightened the gas cap. Problem solved!! Light off. I asked him, "How much? 20 bucks?" " He said, "No charge!!" Not a dime!! I have been here three years now. Driven back to N.Y. and back three times. (Round trip 5,000 miles). My vehicle is '04 with 167,000 on it. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They are a self service station but with my disability, they will help me in pumping gas. Hallettsville is lucky to have that type of service offered.

I bought new tires from this place and less than 20 miles on the tires one blew from a defect in the tire. Lucky I was driving 30 miles an hour when it happened. I took the tire back and they tried to get a warranty from the manufacturer, when the manufacturer wouldn’t replace it they told me it was ‘road hazard.’ This is just an excuse so they did not have to replace the tire, the damage was clearly a rip in the sidewall because the new tire was defective. Then they wanted to SELL me another tire instead of replace it so they could keep my business. I will never buy from them again, and suggest to everyone to use another shop that will stand by their work and products.

Took my truck here on a Saturday to have four new tires put on, dropped it off at 10am and didn't finish until 6:30pm. One of my tire pressure sensors had broke when I had a flat and the guy told me I'll need a new one that it's on the front right wheel, well I went to have it replaced in Houston and it wasn't there, it was on the rear right wheel, the guy probably took so long because when I picked up my truck my whole bottle of prescription pain medication was gone out of my center console (there were 4-5 pills left of hydrocodone in the bottle from having my wisdom teeth removed) Told the owner the next business day and he said thanks for telling me, but he never did anything about it. I will no longer take any of my business back here

My spouse and I were returning to Minnesota after vacationing in southern Texas to visit family. On Friday evening, January 7th, we had an problem with our car and felt it was not safe to continue driving. The error message was "AC fan off because Engine is Hot" the AC does not work on my car. We spent the night in Halletsville and on Saturday morning we took it to this auto repair, they were the only mechanics open on Saturday. The young man was able to diagnosis the problem, and sent us to the NAPA Auto Parts store to get the part. In addition, the clerk at NAPA connected the sensor device and was able to tell us what sensor we needed. The car was fixed within 30 minutes and we were on our way.
