I had my car repaired by Ty, after having it evaluated at a different auto shop for 4 days, who finally said I needed a new transmission. I spoke to Ty on the phone to get a second opinion and he was skeptical that a new transmission was necessary. Ty helped coordinate a tow over to his shop, which was so much easier than the service my roadside service sent. He kept me informed the entire time, showed me the old/new parts, and my car in various stages of disassembly to show he was doing the work. He also discovered there was no evidence the first shop thoroughly checked at the car, or performed the tests they said they had. I was on vacation and my turbocharger needed to be replaced. Ty's Auto world was the only shop open and they went above and beyond and getting my car fixed so I could be back on the road as soon as possible. They ordered the part and got it put on my car as soon as it came in and I was on the road again to finish up my vacation. They were professional respectful and reasonably priced especially with the circumstances and me being out from out of town. Whether you live there or you're from out of town I recommend if you need any auto work done coming here. He even took the time to reach back out to me a couple days later just to check in and see how everything was going and that I was enjoying my vacation. They went above and beyond and I'm so grateful for them and their service.

Quick and reliable service. Ty’s road side assistance was amazing, he replaced my alternator in the middle of the night in the rain. He showed me the issue and explained everything in detail. He even followed up the next day to make sure things were working properly. Best mechanic in Augusta. Highly recommend!
