U-Haul of Boynton Beach

Using this location of Boynton Beach U-haul was the best choice ever. They were very helpful w/ nice customer service and clean excellent maintained equipment. Our 4day journey home had no issues even on mountain foothills.

Beware of Roach-Haul vehicles. The van I rented about two weeks back was completely infested with roaches. Unfortunately, I did not notice this until I was already on the road, literally having to swat the roaches from my legs as I drove. What you see in the pictures are just the ones I was able to catch and smash with my shoe upon entering/exiting the cabin. The roaches crawled out of the air vents. They came from the seat cushions. They came from cracks and crevices in the van you never even knew existed. It was a miracle I was only hauling construction materials, because any personal belongings would have needed immediate remediation or destruction. I'm still cleaning out dead roaches from my tools weeks later. My wife is immunocompromised and I was forced to throw out my travel bag.

Had a 7:00am pick up reservation at the Boynton beach location got there at 7:30 the truck I reversed was not set up for pick up. Called the 800 number which after a while they were able to get me a 10 foot truck when I reversed a15 footer also requested a furniture dolly which was not in the 10 foot truck which made the move difficult when returning the truck I noticed they still charged me for the dolly. Had to go in and have it removed in short.it was always a pleasure getting a truck here I will not be renting anymore trucks here.I’ll have to find better avenues like Home Depot even if it cost more.

On 9/5/25, I had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever encountered at this U-Haul location. When I arrived to resolve a vehicle issue, the manager was on a personal call and ignored me. When she finally engaged, she was extremely rude, dismissive, and used profanity toward me in front of other customers and employees. They refused to provide security footage, attempted to charge $163 for damage that didn’t match what was alleged, and later increased the claim to $400 without basis. My movers’ card was charged without authorization, and I personally lost hundreds of dollars in additional moving costs due to their actions.
