U-Save Car & Truck Rental - Los Angeles City Location

I had a terrible experience with this rental car company, and I would never recommend it to anyone. From the start, the service was awful. They handed us a car in awful condition – it had significant body damage, a strong weed smell, and was filthy and disgusting inside. Despite the car's poor condition, they pressured us into buying body insurance, even though the car was clearly already damaged. The real frustration started after we returned the car. For 19 days, they kept the money that they charged us extra for a mistake they made on the day of the rental. Despite numerous calls and emails, the manager's response was shocking. Amazing service from Steven and the other staff. They do require you to have proof of insurance with your declarations page. I was able to pull it up on my app so he was able to quickly review. Car was great and clean.

I had a great experience with USave they upgraded my car at no cost the car was clean and in great condition. Def recommend!!

This is your sign to book somewhere else! You do NOT save here. If you are reading reviews to see if it is worth booking with this establishment - it is not worth it! Book somewhere else. Seriously, from one family just trying to enjoy a trip to another - this place ripped us off big time, was a huge headache, and we wish we could’ve spent the extra money elsewhere. Objectively speaking, you’ll literally pay more here than if you book somewhere else. Also, be prepared to wait a minimum of 1 hour in line only to be charged twice the amount that you booked the vehicle for online. This was a terrible experience. It was not cheaper, they bullied you into taking their insurance. If I didn't accept their insurance they could not provide a car. They told me that my travelocity booking had expired because I had put on the booking 10:30 pick up and arrive at noon because of flight delay and no U-Save shuttle at LAX airport. The agent then said, if I left a 5 star google review in front of him, he would extend my travelocity rate. This ended up being more expensive than a major, more convenient carrier.
