U-Save Car & Truck Rental

Could it be Zero star?! This was an unbelievable experience. My reservation was until 6:30 PM, but no one told me that the shuttle service stops at 5:30 PM. We arrived at the location at 5:32 PM, just two minutes after the shuttle ended. When I asked the local office staff for help, they were extremely rude and blamed the contract. The staff member said the person who checked me in should have explained it — but she was the same person who checked me in and never warned us. They advertise shuttle service, but once they get their car back, they completely abandon their customers. We were left on the street with two small kids. This is not how customers should be treated.

I recently rented a car from U-Save, and the overall experience was very positive. My agreement clearly stated how to catch the shuttle and their hours of operation. The staff was very efficient and I didn't have to wait long for the shuttle. The rates were very fair and much lower than the bigger rental agencies. Vianey was my shuttle driver when I arrived and for my return. She did a great job.

When booking my reservation, I was a little skeptical because of their very attractive rental rate compared to the others; but I gave them a try. I was very happy I did that! They were great!! Very friendly staff and a very nice car. They also gave good connections to the airport shuttle service. I would highly recommend this car rental place.

If you’re flying into the San Diego airport and renting a car, you need to reserve it someplace else. My flight was scheduled to land at 11:15, so I booked a pickup time of 11. My flight was delayed an hour, as flights often are, and when we got to the rental car center at 1pm, we were informed that the reservation had expired at 12pm and the car we’d reserved had been given to someone else. All the other rental car agencies were sold out, so instead of the van that seated 7 that we had reserved, we were stuck with a Camry that seated 5. (I spent the trip riding in the back middle seat, which I did not enjoy in the slightest.) To add insult to injury, they still charged me for the van. When I questioned this, they were rude and blamed me for the expired reservation. I’m not sure how the
