United Towing & Auto Repair

I was driving from South Florida back to New York when I picked up a nail in my rear tire. Luckily I found this shop and stopped in. The guys there couldn’t have been nicer. They took a look right away, patched the tire quickly, and had me safely back on the road in no time. When you’re in the middle of a long trip, running into a problem like that can be stressful, but they made the whole experience easy. Friendly, professional, and clearly a group that cares about helping people. Thanks to them I made it all the way home without a single issue. Highly recommend these guys if you ever need help!

These people are crooks they charge insane prices for towing, I would highly recommend staying away from this company. It seems hey work together with the truck stop to rip off truckers that park in a spot that is not designed for parking and the truck stop will automatically call the towing company to tow the truck the minute the driver leaves the truck, I am pretty sure it a scam they got running to make extra cash because nobody in the industry charges over $7,000 to tow a truck for 10 miles, even in New York City where prices are high, the highest price for towing I have seen there was under $2,000, these guys make up numbers that are designed to put businesses out of business…. They might as well make it a million dollars, the amount of entitlement with these people is outrageous… Sta

By far the worst business I’ve ever dealt with and by the reviews it looks like they lie and steal for a living not to mention the fact they let people beat on your car while in their lot. My 2019 Subaru was in good shape with the exception of a broken back windshield. When I filed a complaint they said it was already in “deplorable condition” which was a total lie and they also said they would work with me on the storage fee because my title took forever to get and they wouldn’t give me my car without it. They also said I didn’t try to claim ownership which I begged them not to sell it and tried calling daily. ⭐ 1 Star – Absolutely Terrible Experience – BEWARE! If I could leave zero stars, I would. I was charged $605 for a 30-mile tow after the police called United Towing and Auto Repair in Bluffton. I was never informed that if the police call, you’re automatically charged TWO tow fees, but if you call yourself, it’s only one. What kind of shady policy is that?! To make matters worse, they only accept cash if the police call them, which feels like a total trap. When I returned to get an itemized receipt and asked for a breakdown of the charges, Michelle was beyond rude and told me to “get out” – saying they “did me a favor.” A favor?! My car has never run smoother after having my tires replaced at United Towing and repair. The team is friendly and knowledgeable. Michelle was very helpful and facilitating. I did notice, however, that she was interrupted frequently by extremely unkind and aggressive phone calls. Let’s remember our manners folks. Parking illegally comes with consequences that are not the business owner’s responsibility. I would definitely return for repairs on my car to this location.
