United Transmission LV & Auto Repair Shop

While passing through Las Vegas my engine light came on so I had Auto Zone check the code. It said that the transmission needed repairs. I found United transmission and called to see if they could check it out. They were very nice and helpful and told us to bring it right in. They checked it out and pulled a sample of the fluid that showed some debris from the clutch’s starting to fail. He explained that it could not be rebuilt due to lack of parts available. The only option was to get a new one from GM which would be weeks or months to get one. I asked if he thought it would make it another six hundred miles to get home. He was honest with me and said it was impossible to tell but he thought it might make it. It made it. My wife and I were very impressed with their helpful and caring mann

I took my 2021 Silverado in because the transmission was slipping. When they called to tell me it needed a new transmission, they already had the part price, labor cost, and lead time ready to go. I have a third-party warranty, and Rosie took it from there — I honestly just sat back while they handled everything: contacting the warranty company, ordering parts, and filing all the paperwork. Carlos was great and super easy to talk to. He walked me through the issues with the truck, explained how he diagnosed it, and I even found out he plays instruments. If I could give a 10 out of 5, I would. I would absolutely return if I have any more issues. The whole crew are rockstars.

I contacted United after talking to a local parts provider and took a chance with this recommendation. I am glad I did. I spoke to Rosie on the phone and arranged a drop off to get the work done. When beginning the work, United found some issues with the rear brakes and corrected the issue. The price was very reasonable for this work. The rear end was complete but apparently a pinion seal for this read end isn't made any longer. Rosie made calls, discovered the issue and got the right part! My 67 Chevelle has really come alive. I will be using United to rebuild a transmission in the near future.

I've had United do three clutches, and recently they installed an engine on a Dodge Caravan of mine. Always fantastic work, reasonably priced and reasonable time to repair. Its a small family owned business that does excellent work and are good folks.
