Unitrax Differentials

I mailed my differential to unitrax to have a wavetrac LSD installed with brand new bearings and seals and sealant from Mercedes as you can see they used plenty of sealant it had leaked inside you can see it dripping in the inside of the cover.Unitrax assembled my differential and it was installed by a reputable shop in Sacramento California called EU-Tech it lasted maybe about 60 miles and I started having shimmying and shaking and slight vibration in the rear end after draining the fluid it look like I was panning for gold. They did give me a refund for the labor I paid which was almost $800 for the assembly but I lost a lot of money out of this deal I would never use them again I had $2,000 in parts the only thing I could Salvage was the wavetrac carrier and all other parts were toast.

I have used Unitrax exclusively my entire life. I have had many differential driveline systems built by Unitrax, since I was teenager in High School. Every single differential system worked perfectly, flawlessly & problem free for many years of heavy & extreme use. Recently, my 2018 F150 4x4 FX4 driveline/differential system needed repairs. I am 55 yrs old now & retired, living in the Houston Texas area. After speaking with 6-8 of the highest rated & most recommended shops here in Texas, none of them could do what I needed or get the specific parts I wanted! Unitrax was a name that came up regularly for this kind of repair with even people on the other side of the country sending their cars here. Due to manufacturing delays, sourcing a new part meant a 6+ month wait, but Eddie kept tabs on it regularly. Give this place a 5 star review, especially Eddie. He went above and beyond to provide great customer service. I went to another local shop were they quoted me 3-4 week lead time. I followed up with them a week later for they never called me back for pricing where they informed me they haven’t even checked on it. I took my business here and it was the best decision I could have made. Eddie got me a new axle, shortened it and had it ready for me in 2 days and 35% cheaper than the other shop. Long-time customer of Unitrax since 2013. Got a few differential setups for different Miatas and 86/FRS/BRZs over the years; a couple of them went to set road race circuit lap records and win championships. Always quick turnaround time for bench jobs and customer support is top-notch.
