University Emission

Don’t waste your time, buddy doesn’t open on time and there’s always a line of cars waiting for him to show up. 9am is a complete lie. When he finally decides to show up for work he’s a nice guy though.

I went here yesterday at 1506. The guy who did the smog check on my car was very distracted. While performing my emissions test he was also helping a customer with a U Haul rental. During the test he left the bay for a few seconds and came back. Once the test was done my check engine light was on. I had no engine lights on prior to the test. Maybe there's no connection it was just odd. My mechanic resolved the issue. After, me discussing what occurred at this location. He suggested I go to another company. Today, I went to another company to administer the emissions test and the car passed. The difference is testing was evident. The woman never left me and the vehicle. She did all the procedures in front of me and gave me instructions on what to do. Never once leaving the sight of my car.

I went there today, 12/25. I had a great experience. The owner was efficient, knowledgeable, and super quick. It was my second time there and I will return for my next emissions test.

His recommendations helped, and the vehicle passed. I’ve recommend him to several family members and friends. He’s thorough and very professional. I will take my other two vehicles to him as well.
