He has helped me initially with my 2007 Dodge Dakota back when I was looking for a CEDA certified mechanic. He diagnosed my 1997 Acura RL transmission issue and now overseeing the repairs to my 1999 Toyota Corolla. Typically it’s always a hit or miss when you try new Auto repair shops… However in this case, Right off the bat- Uptown Garage is an auto shop I highly recommend to everyone in the Chicagoland area!! Chuck and Peter took care of our vehicle after the accident not within a tight budget but also within 5 business days which is unheard off in the Auto repair industry! They are honest, efficient & very easy to work with and also flexible in terms of payments and other challenges one might have! Thank you once again for helping us out!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Chuck is such an honest person. I found a used car near this shop for my husband and wanted it checked out before purchasing. SO glad I did...ended up being a very bad deal and he saved me tons of money as I probably would have purchased if not for Chuck's opinion. Shop was very courteous, detailed and professional. Also more than fair on the price charged to look it over. Wish this shop was closer to home, as I'd take all my cars here for maintenance and repairs. Honest mechanics are so hard to come by, this shop is a gem!
