This is my third or fourth time patronizing Uptown Motors NYC and each time I’m a satisfied customer. The customer service with management when inquiring is top notch and once your vehicle is actually in their possession, the service is unmatched. I bought my vehicle in around 10am for brake pad replacements. The mechanic Richard was available right away, informative and helpful with any questions or concerns I had. Richard handled my work with care and in no time. By 3pm my car was serviced and I was back home. Anytime I go to Uptown Motors I never feel like I’m being taken advantage of and it’s why will continue to use them and recommend the company to others. The prices are fair and the service, as far as I’ve seen is great.

Leaving 4 stars to support a local business... Oil change for my 2000 Toyota 4-Runner was $125.00. Removal of a rusted bracket beneath the car, some fixes to the power steering fluid tubing, drilling a new hole and reaffixing the battery's bracket, and checking on the driving shaft and muffler (nothing visibly wrong) brought the total with the oil change etc to roughly $360.00.

I am very pleased with the work done on my car. When I first went to the shop, Richard explained in full, what was happening to my car. I know very little about the mechanics of my car, and to be honest as a woman I am concerned about being ripped off at a mechanic. I was able to get my starter fixed very quickly, and I’m so satisfied with the work. I will definitely refer Uptown Motors to my friends. Thanks !

I found this place a couple of years ago while looking for a discounted oil change on groupon. Needless to say, I've stayed with them since. Andy, Richard, and Karen are very amicable and pleasant to talk to, they've been nothing but helpful regarding my old car and all it's repairs. I've gone to them for issues ranging from a simple oil change to replacing my water pump and faulty sensors, they've offered a great service at a fair price. They've even provided me with a tow once due to a dead battery and starter motor. Yep, I've got an old car, but with repairs and advice from Andy and Richard I've kept my old girl in fighting shape.
