Valvoline Instant Oil Change

Do not get your oil changed here unless you want your vehicle at risk. So, on October 24, 2025 I brought my 2023 Honda Pilot into this shop for an oil change. Typically, I do all oil changes myself, but because I was pressed for time and leaving the next day for an out of town road trip I decided to pop into this service center for an oil change. Needless to say, I should’ve just changed the oil myself. It took 2 1/2 hours for these guys to complete the oil change. Although there are very nice, the staff was incompetent. They removed my skid plate on the vehicle just to change my oil filter. On this vehicle, accessing the oil filter is as simple as looking behind the passenger side driver tire and unscrewing. I was pleased with my service from the moment I arrived at the Vails Gate location. Thomas, Daniel and Donovan were very kind and professional. They were able to assist with my questions and worked together to assure a smooth and quick appointment. Roger, the manager, was very nice and went over my invoice prior to check out. Tyshawn(? Spelling?) was absolutely fantastic! Very well mannered, informed, attentive, polite and helpful. I love this place and whip t have any other do my oil change. Trustworthy. They tell you what might need looking into but never give you a hard sell. Best oil changers around!!

I’ve been going to this shop since before I had a license with my dad to get his oil change. Then I took my first vehicle there , then I learnt to do the changes myself and took it to this shop 2 weeks ago out of convenience in the freezing cold. I took my newish truck (23 f150 50k miles) to get an oil change. There never an oil leak on this truck before. After the change I noticed a leak immediately, it continued for a few days so I took a look, the oil cooler was leaking. The store manager Roger told me they refused to take responsibility, I informed them I would be taking legal action. 20 minutes later I get a call from corporate and Roger, they offer to do the filter and new oil … not a solution to the issue. I am writing this review while currently getting an oil change and was so impressed with Thomas, his knowledge, his professionalism, and kindness; within minutes you can see his passion for helping people and their cars. He is all about overall safety of the vehicle and their passengers. I can’t say enough about this visit and the people who work at this location! Thank you very much for all that you do! I will be a faithful customer.
