Valvoline Instant Oil Change

This was my first visit to the Valvoline Instant Oil Change in Kenosha, Wisconsin. I noticed some negative reviews beforehand, but I had a coupon and needed the service done before a trip, so I decided to give them a try..and I’m glad I did. The location was well-run, and the whole team operated like a coordinated unit. Communication was clear, the workflow was smooth, and the service felt efficient without being rushed. If they’ve been working to improve their service, I’d say they absolutely nailed it. I’d recommend this type of quick-service shop for vehicles that are already well-maintained and not experiencing any underlying issues — that’s really what these places are designed for: standard maintenance done fast and professionally. The technicians were very friendly, polite and professional. They were thorough in explaining what services they were performing. The wait time was short. The price was competitive. It’s a good value getting my oil change here.

2-1/2 days for an Instant Oil Change. A mistake was made by draining my transmission instead of engine oil. I am ok with mistakes, but how you handle the mistake will be everything. They did not handle this problem with any sort of urgency to fix a problem that they created. Nor did they do much to make me-the customer feel better about it. I have waited to write this review to see if anything would happen with Valvoline corporate. But no more replies from them since. I took the car in on Monday the 9th at 12:45, and I got it back on Thursday morning from another shop that had to put the transmission fluid in. They had the car towed to the other shop. I had a skid plate on there but was using zip ties to hold in place--without issue. It was fully ripped of by the tow truck and now I have

Staff is super friendly and helpful, answering any questions and explaining what they are doing. Jamie the asst manager was incredibly helpful when I stopped in for some help checking fluids and answered questions, letting me know what to look out for with a potential leak. Will definitely return- I appreciate getting coupons in my email too, which helps with the price of an oil change.

Just amazing proffecianal service..staff is perfect..will always be back..they were thorough on going from lights to everything..checking stuff I never checked..the staff were professional and beyond courteous..I was iffy on goin there but I went and glad I did. My car runs better too..glad I got the new air filter thing..it helped and they gave me a list of stuff to check for coming up with my mileage..I always have anxiety on getting anything done on my car and it was nice they didn't try to sell me stuff I didn't need..place was nice and clean for a garage..but I will be back..thank staff for your professionalism..
