Valvoline Instant Oil Change

Waited over an hour . Have used the same store for 31 years. Some people left because of the wait and timeliness of the in and out practice this company is known for. Wi probably consider going somewhere else all together.

I felt unsafe here. I came here for an oil change and pulled into the lot where I did not see a door that had a Valvoline sign on it only a Fricke Park Automotive sign. I pulled to the side of the building to double check that the Valvoline I was trying to locate was not closed. Well double checking on my phone. A strange man approached my car and tapped on my window and asked me why I was on the side of the building. I then said I was looking for the Valvoline and he said it was right in front of me. I then said oh my mistake and asked for an oil change which he promptly denied? I then said oh OK that’s fine. I will leave when he got behind my car to “help me leave the parking lot“ and stood behind my vehicle. Do not go here if you are a young female

I came to get an oil change at 4:39 and they were closing at 5pm. I didn’t get into a bay until after 5pm and they did not turn me away! I appreciated that! There were a few more cars behind me and they continued to service all of us! They were not rude or rushing when giving me my oil change! Great service!

I always get friendly and helpful service with no up-sale pressure. It's always a satisfying experience at my local Valvoline in Penn Hills, PA. Great crew! I trust them.

I’ve been coming here consistently for the last couple of years for oil changes and tire rotations, especially before winter. But yesterday I had the worst experience ever. When I arrived, I asked for a tire rotation along with my oil change. One of the employees looked confused, stayed silent for a minute, and then said that “they didn’t feel like doing it today because she was sick.” She even asked another coworker if he felt like doing tire rotations, and he replied that he didn’t feel like doing it either. I was shocked. If someone is sick, they should call off, or the store should temporarily close. But telling a customer you just “don’t feel like” providing a service you offer makes no sense. This was extremely unprofessional, and I will never come back. Terrible service.
