Valvoline Instant Oil Change

Kim was amazing at Valvoline in Reading MA!! For a woman to service my oil change she made the experience so much easier and comfortable!!!

Just had my service done in my work van and my company has an business account here I just came in for an oil change and these guys wanted to run up the bill and charge my company for stuff I didn’t need or ask for that kind of rubbed me the wrong way. After talking to them they did talk me into getting an air filter and after I left I noticed my van was driving a lot didn’t it was wicked loud and was making a rumbling nose from the engine compartment after cross referencing the other new vans we have I noticed the didn’t put the air box back together right . Pretty upsetting seeing how they are supposed to double check everything before I left . In February of this year, I took one of our two cars in for an oil change at the Valvoline located at 369 Main St. in Reading, MA. Later in the day, as I was driving on the freeway, the undercover shield partially fell off the car, causing a lot of damage to it and giving me quite a scare. It had not been properly put back on after the oil change. We called Valvoline and an employee met us on the side of the freeway to temporarily put it back on. We were told that it had to go back to their shop to “correctly” secure it because he didn’t have the right sized tabs with him to do it on the side of the road. My husband followed him back to the shop where he was given an apology(no refund or compensation was offered) and told it was fixed and shouldn’t be an issue again. The car was dropped o

Horrible place. I went in for an oil change and they pushed to upsell. I opted to get my transmission fluid replaced but the only person who could do it was on break, when I changed my mind, they ignored me and continued to talk amongst themselves. The service guy talked negatively about his boss and when his boss asks about sales that day, he’ll tell him this is why, he was so unprofessional. A couple weeks later my car overheated. They didn’t mention any of my fluids were low, especially that they were near empty. When I called to mention this, they said they would offer to top the coolant off at a cost.
