Valvoline Instant Oil Change

What a poor quality job. I came in and paid over $100 for a quick synthetic oil change. I drove over an hour after this only to discover they hadn’t completed the very basics of an oil change in terms of putting everything together when they were done. How little do you value the safety of your customers and the quality of your work to do a job this poorly?

HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. Integrity in this type of business is very important. This crew fell very short this time although i’ve had better experiences here before. They marked on my receipt that they did the following, but absolutely did not. I watched them very carefully. 1. no tire pressure check and fill, 2. no windshield washer fluid filled, 3. No brake fluid check, and 4. No offer to reset the oil change reminder. ALL OF THESE ITEMS WERE MARKED “YES.” I also question whether they actually replaced my oil filter as I asked them to do. I was charged for it, but i’m not 100% sure it was actually changed as i watched what looked like an oil-soaked filter go right back into the engine.

Original - (01/08) This was the worst experience I have had at a Valvoline Instant Oil Change location. The service provided was unprofessional and fell well below reasonable expectations. I will not return to this location for future vehicle maintenance and recommend others consider alternative service providers. Updated - (01/09) I contacted the Area Manager to discuss the concerns from my visit. The conversation did not result in acknowledgment of the service issues or any meaningful effort to address them. The lack of accountability, leadership, and resolution confirmed my decision to take my business elsewhere.

The team was fast, helpful, and highly competent with my oil change. The explained the various prices and allowed me to choose based on my budget. I highly recommend the store here in southern pines and Aberdeen!

Was refused service because I have a small trailer. It follows the same path as my vehicle. In a pull straight through straight out situation If it's against there policy okay but the long haired boy said there are holes in the floor and he didn't trust the people in Southern Pines to be able to handle it. Pretty sure that shop was designed for anyone to be able to pull through especially seeing as the bay door is big enough for a dump truck to pull through
