I went to Valvoline Instant Oil Change in Westerly, RI for an oil change, transmission service, light replacement, and coolant system service, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. Shareefe, Jessica, and Kim are an incredible team. They were professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about doing the job right. Everything was explained clearly, questions were answered without pressure, and the entire process was smooth and stress-free. The service was fast but never rushed, thorough, and completely transparent. It’s rare to find an automotive shop where both the work and the customer service are this good. Always very professional, kind and courteous!! Fast and explained all of the important details about maintenance for my vehicle. I love how they never pressure you into getting certain things done but yet the importance of getting certain things done!!!

Beware of this place overfilling your crankcase. I have had three occasions where I had to drain out oil myself to avoid a possible gasket issue. Also, I was told they could sell me a cabin air filter for $50. I declined but decided to look it up on ebay. I purchased one for $10. I will no longer use their service.

I will never go to Valvoline again, and advise others not to go near this business! At the time of my oil change, I was told there was sludge in the oil in my car. It was recommended I purchase an $80 engine flush, which would clear the sludge from the car. Since my car had never had this done, I decided to get it done. After leaving Valvoline, I traveled about a mile before my check engine light and tire pressure sensor light both came on. I found it very odd. The air in my tires had been checked while I was at Valvoline. Could an employee have damaged the sensors? When the check engine light came on, my car lost heat. Very coincidental, after having Valvoline work on it. How many prople get work on their cars, only to drive a mile away and having warning lights come on? Hhmmmmm. It turns
