Velocity Truck Centers

We just bought a new Western Star 47X dump truck from Velocity Truck Centers and I couldn't be happier with their customer service. I worked with Larry Zievis, the salesman and he is very professional and very helpful on every step to finalize the purchase. The finance department did a great job as well. Definity I will call Larry Zievis again for the next purchase. we are from Messachussets.

Great experience from top to bottom. When we needed to purchase a quint axle dump truck, which has been like finding a needle in a haystack lately, Larry Zievis at Velocity was the help we needed. He found exactly the truck we wanted, was attentive but not pushy, and made sure we had all the information we needed to feel great about our purchase. John Coad was equally appreciated with his prompt service on the financing side of our purchase. Being provided options without feeling like we were being pushed or steered made the whole transaction comfortable. From price, to product, to professionalism, we felt like the team at Velocity hit the nail on the head every time. Thanks for the help and we will definitely have Velocity at the top of our list in the future.

Stay away. Far away! I left multiple messages for a quote to do work on my Newmar Essex motorhome after paying them over $300.00 for a hour inspection to tell me what needed to be done. Never did they call back after calling/speaking with Bobby (the service manager) over 3 times. They got their 300 bucks and never followed up. There is more to the story like I took elsewhere for inspection and they found several issues never found by Velocity. Big issues that they showed me. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to take this to corporate so they can correct lack of customer service.

I am not one to express and share a review on a public forum usually, but our recent experience with Velocity Freightliner in Wilmington, NC warrants one. We came to them with an electrical/computer issue plaguing us for the past year. Our local home Freightliner service center kept reporting there was no problem to be found while charging us 100’s for each visit. From first contact with the service check-in person and throughout all the remaining personnel, we were treated with friendly, knowledgable, and competent people. And of course they knew what was wrong and fixed our problem!! Thanks Velocity Freightliner!!

Set up and appointment only to show up and find out it was not logged. No big. Left truck for service/diagnostic for a week. It Was not looked at but when I stopped in it had magically been diagnosed. I was then told that I did not have Isuzu warranty coverage (come to find out a week later via another dealer I most certainly did) and was billed $881 for an oil change and a diagnostic. Not real happy so I’m leaving an appropriate review.
