VIP Tires & Service

Today, less than an hour ago, I was discriminated and mistreated by a Spanish speaking worker/owner (front desk) I entered to the business and waited for my turn. I asked to check my tires since my tire light was on. The puertorican guy told me to wait 45 minutes to check the tires and I was waiting. After 30 minutes of waiting, the guy called me and told me to go somewhere else since they have many customers and they “paid for the service” , the guy was disrespectful and he was yelling at me. I told him to relax, to calm down because nobody was yelling at him and I already wait 30 minutes to receive my service. He told me that “you didn’t have an appointment and you just walked in and the customers already paid for the service” I told him I always pay for my service, I got nothing for

I didn't get any service I walked out after I was told needed to get a tire my tire was too dry rottedto repair lmao all I had was a slow leak but he tried to get me to spend way more than I needed too. I ended up going to Goodyear down the street and they fixed it no problem and it was cheaper. Joes Tire Shop is just a money grab. The guy behind the counter lies to get ppl to spend more $ than they need too that pretty seems hard up for a business y'all doing OK?????? Oh and the customer service is trash too. Waste of time and space smh

Didn’t provide good service at all! So lazy that they couldn’t even get up out of their chairs to go outside to check my tire instead they made me wait one and a half hours for them to take My car into the back, gonna take him 20 minutes to lift up the car to tell me that they can’t fix it. That should’ve been addressed as soon as I pulled in and asked them about fixing my tire that had a screw in it. Would never recommend anyone to come here . They do a great job at sitting down! Then was gunna charge me to fix it when it was unfixable! HORRIBLE NEVER GO TO THEM

June 2023 - Thanks to Joe's Tire Shop for fixing my tire. I was so surprised to find my car had a flat tire one morning. Taking the tire off to bring to Joe's, he showed us I drove over some loose screw that was dead center in the tread. Repaired in an hour and as good as new. # Joe's Tires has serviced area Waterbury people since the 1940's. Located on the west side near the Colonial Plaza they're busy every day. A large inventory of tires gives buyers their choice and what they don't have they can order, like a size that isn't standard for the vehicle specifications on your car made by the manufacturer and used on the entire line. Going a tad larger, the tires ordered for my car was placed with the owner Rich the day before, came in the next morning and were on within the hour and a half

Possibly the rudest big boy behind that counter. He made me feel like I was stupid and with the attitude and mark up the prices I took my business elsewhere. How they can charge more than town fair, for crappier tires is beyond me. It seemed as if he was inconvenienced by my questions.
