Vision Nursing Home

Vision is the most active care facility for our elderly that I have encountered in the city. They take great care in keeping the residents active, engaged & entertained. My mom is well cared for, well fed, clean & trusts the staff. She has friends & has a great quality of life at Vision. We are thankful!

Mom was well taken care of. She had a great sense of humor and all the staff knew her. She often said "how do they all know my name" Thanks everyone at Vision ❤️ 💙

When I volunteered here, it was way before covid ruined things. I enjoyed all of the events they had for the seniors, red roses get sent to them from a local business from time to time, high school kids go there to play board games with the elderly, talents were encouraged and featured, such as an elderly resident who was allowed to wow everyone with his ability to play many musical genres with his instruments. I also loved dinner time, when I sat with some elderly ladies at the table and helped feed one of them while another spoke merrily to me in. Deutsch because she forgot her English vocabulary. That's by far the best place I have ever been to. I hope it's still as wonderful a place as I remember it to be

what beautiful and loving care my Mom received. through her journey into Dementia, covid and her decline she was loved and made to feel special. The games, entertainment, manicures, beauty parlor all helped to make life better. Thanks to every one of you Advising us to make her room her own really helped her remember longer. Prior to the covid-19 pandemic I would have had a whole different review. The staff is amazing. Especially Dave in the activities department. The management is cruel and uncaring. My grandmother has lived in this nursing home for nearly ten years. Yesterday I was devastated when me and my 10-month old daughter were turned away because she is not vaccinated against covid-19. To be noted that I have 3 vaccinations and have been trained as one of their essential visitors. Their administrator Virginnia is somehow also the person who deals with family concerns. Virginnia talks down to you and has no empathy. The CEO Heather Martin is rude, self-serving and unbothered about the negative experiences of the residents and their families.
