I visited VW Cypress Service department in an effort to to have my front license plate attached to my new 2026 Atlass Cross Sport and tint repair service. The moment I pulled into the service department, Julio was waiting at the door. As I parked, Julio walked outside to greet me and offer his assistance. Although Julio was not able to help me with my window tint issue, he pointed me in the right direction. We soon discovered the mount for the front license plate was missing from the car, Julio didn't hesitate to assist in searching for a replacement. Julio located VIN and went inside to search for a mount and came back to update me on the time it would take to install the plates, and asked if I would like for him to wash the truck as well. Julio was extremely professional, quick, and kind
I had an appointment scheduled today for a failed sensor on my 2024 Tiguan. When I initially made the appointment last week, I was told it would be "about 2 hours" for the repair. I was also told that the sensor was covered under my warranty. (My car has less that 5k miles on it, plus I have an extended warranty purchased through my financing.) When I came in today, I was told that if the sensor was out due to "outside influences" I would not only be responsible for the repair, I would also have to pay $200 for the "diagnostic" fee. However, the diagnostic fee would be "waived" if the issue was covered under warranty. Then I was told that my alignment was off, and that it would be $400 to realign the car. How did they diagnose an alignment issue when they didn't even diagnose what w
1 Star If I could give zero, I would. My experience at Cypress Volkswagen on Friday 11/28 was so bad it deserves a warning to anyone considering taking their vehicle here. I had a 7 AM appointment for brakes and a diagnostic. My service advisor was Kevin Ryan, and in my opinion he is one of the most unprofessional customer-facing employees I have ever encountered. Before he even got to me, he was already snapping at the customer ahead of me. When it was my turn, I greeted him politely with, “Good morning Mr. Ryan,” and he immediately shot back with attitude: “Mr. Ryan is my father. Don’t call me that.” No greeting. No professionalism. Just pure rudeness at 7 AM. He was visibly annoyed, muttering under his breath, aggressively typing, and acting like he didnt want to be there. It was u
We brought in our 2024 Atlas for a scheduled 7 AM appointment. Even with an appointment, my wife was told they wouldn’t be able to look at the vehicle until Monday — and this was on a Friday. Normally we go to the Volkswagen dealership in Katy, but since this location is closer to our home, we decided to give them a chance. Big mistake. Kevin Ryan (Service Advisor) was the one helping my wife. Before she even spoke to him, she watched him being rude to the customer ahead of her. When it was her turn, the attitude continued — short, annoyed, zero effort. When I came in to speak with him myself, he doubled down and got smart about how they “can’t diagnose engine problems in a day” and that everything is “first come, first served.” He made it sound like we were asking for the moon. For the
Serviced my car here for the first 50k miles at 10k mile intervals (first 30 were included when I bought car) Hated it progressively more each time. Unbelievably slow, even with an appointment. Waiting area is minimal with not comfortable seating. But the worst part is, they offer you these crazy list of recommended nonsense inspections, fluid changes, filter changes starting from “minimum” to “maximum”. Outrageous pricing (maximum is like $2,000 for my 2023 VW Atlas). Hardly any of this stuff is actually factory recommended maintenance. Going to do my own research, figure out what I actually need and find an independent mechanic that won’t provide the worst experience possible.
