Volpone Towing Service

If you need a tow, this company is not your friend. My daughter’s car was stuck in snow during the evening, in below freezing temperatures. Called this company and the person I talked with (which I believe was the owner) was very rude and not helpful. After a very frustrating conversation, they hung up on me. Their prices were very high (but I was willing to pay). After my frustrating conversation, I moved on to another company which charged me half of what they were going to charge. Stay away.

Called to ask for an estimate on a tow, the guy was EXTREMELY rude over the phone and hung up on me. DO NOT waste ur money with this company, go somewhere else!

I had the displeasure of dealing with this Terrible Tow Truck Company and let me tell you, it was a nightmare from start to finish. The guy who answered the phone was the rudest person I have ever encountered in my life. He not only lacked basic manners but also had the audacity to speak to me in a condescending tone. When the tow truck finally arrived, it was old and rickety, looking like it was barely held together by duct tape. The driver seemed disinterested and careless, not to mention he was late to the scene despite their promised quick response time. To top it all off, the charges they slapped me with were exorbitant, way higher than what other reputable tow truck companies would charge for the same service. Contracted by West newbury, I have TripleA, and these police officers say we can't use it, even though as long as the vehicle isn't impeding traffic, you should be able to. The tow yard wanted $200. Cash to tow it to the autobody shop that isn't far from them. Police don't care about citizens just making sure they use their contracted tow companies. They dont seem aware of how they are making it difficult or almost impossible for citizens, especially with this tow company. Police are supposed to work for the people. It's all about $$$. The car wasn't on the highway. The car was on the side of the road after a collision. Valpone will not release the car to the insurance company choice of collision center. They are requiring a notarized paper signed by me to release the car, I don't know a

Said the minimum was $150 and what I paid was $150 the guy that came was awesome and we chatted about cars.. he was wicked friendly, I would recommend this place despite the rating.. don't let the rating deceive you! My experience with them was good and I would call them again.
