Walmart Auto Care Center

I went to this Walmart Auto Center back in April for an oil change. I even left work early to make the appointment. The service took about an hour. As soon as I left and started driving home, my car started making a weird noise and wouldn’t go over 15 mph. I had to pull over and when I got out, there was a puddle of oil under my car, so that should have been a warning right there. When I called Walmart, the man I talked to tried to say it probably wasn’t their fault. That didn’t sit right with me. My car had no issues or warning lights before I came in. I keep up with my maintenance. Anywho, they asked me to bring the car back, which I was already planning to do. When I got there, a Black supervisor was waiting. Ordered some tires that were installed in the hour expected. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I just waited outside before they opened at 7 AM, and I walked in the store during the appointment.

Arrived early for my appointment and everyone working was moving like they don’t know how to do there job, terrible customer service walmart really needs to do something about this I will never come back

I recently called ahead to the auto department to ask about the cost of a new tire and installation. I was given a clear price over the phone. However, once I arrived, the price suddenly jumped by an extra $150 with no reasonable explanation. When I calmly expressed my concern and mentioned what I had been told earlier, the manager was incredibly rude and dismissive, basically acting like it wasn’t their problem. There was absolutely no effort to make things right or even acknowledge the miscommunication. I left feeling disrespected and frustrated. I took my business elsewhere and will never return. I would not recommend anyone spend their hard-earned money in a place where customers are treated so poorly.

Is your idea of a good time having unprofessional technicians take out their frustration on you? Do you like to wait for excessive periods of time for something that only takes minutes? If so, this is the auto shop for you. If you'd rather not experience those things, look elsewhere – literally anywhere else. There are plenty of better options in town.
