Walmart Auto Care Center

This auto center has decent prices, but the service is slow. Simple jobs often take hours to complete. They also do not always answer the phone, which makes it hard to get updates or ask questions.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! I just needed a tire rotation. Took them 3 entire hours to even start it. No one seemed to be happy in the auto care center. Not the workers, and definitely not the customers. The girl who rung me up when it was all finished acted like she was dead inside and didn’t even have enough brain cells left to give me my keys after I paid. I would rather pay a literal crack head with a jack and a wrench $50 to rotate my tires than even have Walmart do it for free. You could not pay me to go back there. There was one decent guy (I’m assuming a mechanic) who was truly trying to be kind and help people out at the registers all while still trying to get back out to do his actual job in the bays. Aside from that it felt like everyone was oblivious of everything going on. Walmart

Had a tire switched to a new wheel. Pretty new tire 5 months or so. They did half the job. Didn't even seal the tire to wheel got home not balanced had 13 pounds of air and valve stem was leaking. Poor craftsmanship

Anytime I call no one is in the auto center, even after the service desk personnel page and call them over the loud speaker. I've even waited in the auto center with no customers in the garage and still unable to get assistance. The button for assistance gets avoided. Other workers can't even find their coworkers that are assigned to the auto center when asked.

I had a flat on highway due to a puncture. I was able to locate the puncture by hearing and seeing the hole. I marked the tire and put on my spare. On 13 Sep 2021 I brought the tire to Walmart tire center in deridder la. I showed them where the puncture was because I had marked the tire. I went home and was contacted saying the hole was to close to the sidewall and they couldn't patch it. I brought tire home and filled tire with air and sprayed with soapy water. Immediately heard the air and seen the bubbles. It was dead center in middle of tire. About 4 inches either direction from sidewall. I contacted Tire Center at Walmart on 13 Sep 2021 and told them evidently they didn't look at the tire or even put air in the tire. Asked them how much further can you get from the sidewall!!!? He did
