Walmart Auto Care Center

Ordered tires online. Paid for them online. Paid for the basic installation with balancing online. It scheduled me for an appointment. Proceeded to arrive to that appointment. 15 minutes early. Was told that because the Wheels were a carry-in because I just had them in the back of my car, the appointment doesn't matter and you can't do an appointment for a carry in. So, the manager said that there was only one thing that they could do, and that was charged me for the installation again and eventually The system would recognize that I " missed my appointment" and would refund me for the initial installation fee. Of course, prior to taking possession of my wheels and tires, I had to pay the double installation fee. I asked if I could wait for it to be refunded, and she responded with yes. B

This review is probably still here but maybe 4 years ago they stole a cup with a lot of change out of my car (well more specifically he stole all of the quarters and a few silvers) out of my car. I know because it was obviously gone when my car came back. i asked for a manager and everything they pretended it didn’t happen

Tried to schedule an appointment through the app with tires, got to the next morning, the store cancelled the installation but said the tires were there and ready. Apparently the automotive side is not a priority for the company.

***Save yourself and go elsewhere!*** Note: I work over the road and my schedule is extremely demanding. So having appointments scheduled for things I have to physically be somewhere for, is something I depend on critically. I ordered a set of tires on 6/12/25 and scheduled an appointment for TODAY(6/17/25) at 7am. It was their earliest appointment since they had to ship the tires to the store. I took Monday AND today off of work because I obviously can’t leave if I have to be here for an appointment. No problem. Sometimes you have to do that. 6/16/25 - I receive an email from the store stating the tires are at the store and ready for my appointment. Possibly the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Walmart auto center. Waited over an hour for them to prorate a tire under warranty and no one seemed to give a damn. Criston was extremely unprofessional and condescending towards me and the poor woman that didn’t even know how to process the proration.
