Walmart Auto Care Center

We have dealt with too long of a wait for oil changes here, because they're always "backed up" (they say)...so we intentionally scheduled our most recent oil change for first thing in the morning so there'd be no delays. It still took over an hour. It doesn't make sense...and it's not worth saving the few bucks when Jiffy Lube or anywhere else can have you in and out in 15 minutes.

Run! Take your business elsewhere. They put two incorrectly sized tired on my AWD car. My tires squealed when I left the lot. I brought it back and they “looked” at it for an hour, then told me the noise must be my breaks because the tires were fine. My tires locked in the freeway that night! So dangerous! And it can damage the suspension! I know this from a discount tire nearby that found the problem in 3 minutes. The auto center at Walmart agreed to replace two other tires after lots of time and difficult conversation. They said no charge… then tried to charge me for them! When I called the Walmart help line they couldn’t figure out how I was charged. Shannon, the manager, seemed shocked that I was charged and said it would be refunded. Big surprise - the charge is still there!!!! Yi

What we were told/quoted yesterday is completely different than what we were told/quoted today (we ended up paying a lot more despite having a lifetime warranty). We had an appointment that should have had all details in the system yet I was asked what we were needing done. Ummm…we talked with you yesterday, you scheduled the appointment, and added all notes…so maybe check those first? They also said it would be “30 minutes tops.” I got my keys a hour later (except I was given someone else’s keys first). There were two other customers at the counter who were also experiencing issues of their own. These guys just seem lost and confused. We will not be returning for any future tire purchases or services.

My wife scheduled an appointment to fix a flat under her warrantied tires here. They said they couldn’t fix the flat, so we ordered a tire which they charged us for, saying under warranty they would refund us for the portion of the tire we hadn’t used up once they finished the service, so we set up an appointment for the next week. We got in again that next week for our appointment and it took them an hour and a half to realize they had ordered the wrong sized tire and couldn’t make the replacement happen that week. So they returned the tire, and we ordered it again online so they could ship the right one. It took 2 weeks to get in. Then when we showed up again for our appointment, it took an hour and a half again to replace the tire after the promise that it would take between 30-45 minu

Service work was fine. I had an appointment and it is a 1 hour window, but it took an hour and a half. 90 mins for a simple pill change when I had an appointment? Hence 3 starts, at best.
