My husband is currently a resident at Waveny, and I couldn’t be happier with the care he’s receiving. The facility is always clean and well-maintained, which gives me great peace of mind. He really enjoys the meals that are served three times a day — he says the food is delicious and satisfying. The activities are his favorite part of the day, especially the exercise sessions. It’s wonderful to see him engaged, active, and happy. There’s always a nurse on duty to help whenever he needs anything, and the staff communicates well and keeps me informed. I truly appreciate the care and kindness shown to my husband. I highly recommend Waveny to any family looking for a place where their loved one will be treated with respect, compassion, and professionalism.

Waveny continues to impress me every time I visit my mom. Initially, she resided at the Inn with my father. A year or so after his passing, she needed the assisted living support offered at the Village. I have had family members, friends and neighbors at the NC Inn, and in both short term and long term at Waveny. I had 100% positive experience with the entire care team. They treat each resident with dignity and respect and provide care specific to each individual.

Impressive empathetic care from staff at all levels made my father’s final years as pain free as possible both physically and mentally. One example was their welcoming me and other family members to visit during meals. Being able to spend an hour or so with him a couple of times a week while eating lunch or dinner together helped both of us endure his advancing dementia, eventual hospice care and death.

Waveny was a godsend for our family. After a sudden medical emergency, my father recovered in short-term rehab and then transitioned into memory care at The Village. The compassion, professionalism, and warmth we experienced at every step were extraordinary. The staff didn’t just manage his care—they uplifted his life and quickly became like family. He had a beautiful view of the garden from his room, which he loved. It made his space feel like home. The conversations we had with staff showed they had truly taken the time to know him as a person, not just a patient. That meant everything.
