I took my car here for a couple different things over the years. While they are more expensive than average in this area, I appreciated the fact that working with them was very low hassle. However, they recently botched a repair on my car and blamed me for it. They attached the engine splash shield on my car with standard metal screws and washers, so when I drove over snow the screws ripped through the new shield, making it impossible to reattach. I'll have to buy another shield, making this much more costly than it would be if they had attached it with the correct screws and washers. These guys swindled me and were extremely rude to boot. My check engine light came on, so I took the car to Wayne's. Mike recommended a $1,500 fix to my EVAP system. When I asked for the specific codes so I could do some research for myself, he didn't want to show them to me. I've never had a mechanic refuse to show me the codes before, and I should have trusted my gut and found a different garage right then. Unfortunately, I trusted Mike and said yes the expensive fix. Not a full service repair shop. said they could do the work but then after I showed up they had a different story. maybe bc i am Black. ? they then looked at my car then Refused to do the work , claiming they didn't want to get into it. it is an 8 year old volkswagen. ??? I will never use them and no one else should, likely racists and not a full service repair shop. Could have sold me new tires but turned down my business. were very rude

Car was dropped off overnight without an appointment and was ready at 7:05 the next morning. It was only a tire patch, but I do appreciate the fast service. I will be coming back when I need service again.

I'm new to Philly and needed a place to get my PA car inspection done. Wayne and his staff of techs took great care of me. The cherry on top, after buying a tire from the shop to pass my inspection (NOT an unexpected need/NOT a grift), about a week later I managed to get a screw in the tread. Took the tire back to Wayne's and they took care of the repair no charge! Now THAT's how to run a garage to keep customers coming back and recommending your shop to anyone that asks!
