Weare Body & Frame

I work just down the road from this gentleman, but usually I'm pretty loyal to the mechanics that I know a couple of towns over. I was referred to him from a colleague because I thought I had a very abnormally serious sound coming from one of my front wheels. I drove it right over there, he immediately had me pull into the bay, and he started lifting the front end as he was talking with me. We looked at everything, talked through the possibilities, did a little research, and determined it to be something completely different and something with my transmission that had to be serviced immediately by a dealer. Not what I wanted for an answer but the diagnostic that I needed! I tried to hand him some money and this kind mechanic told me to put it back in my pocket. I was there and gone in

If you are a bad customer, please ignore this review and GO ELSEWHERE! I have been going to Alan's for many years now. He came recommended by my brother for the very same reason I wish to recommend him. He is a good, honest mechanic and human being. I had a place that was close to five stars (in henniker, I won't name) and found out the place was garbage. Weare Body and Frame (Alan, actually) is amazing. One of the few mechanics in my life I can trust completely. He's a hidden gem and I will travel as far as I can (across states, etc) to bring my vehicles to him. If my posting this review helps him, then I feel at least a little better for all the things he's done and money he's saved me.

Al has been working on my cars for over 20 years. He is the best and fairest mechanic I have every met. No BS here.

He always tells you the way it is. Tells you what needs to be repaired, which you can hold off on for a little bit, which is mandatory... He pulls no punches and tells it like it is. Only person I go to see from my inspection
