Went into Welles late this Sunday afternoon to get some paint. Employees seemed knowledgeable and friendly and pricing was great. Would highly recommend this place if you're looking for automotive supplies.

Go to mechanics! Very experienced and reasonable prices with no up selling (fix whats needed and straight forward assessments on options)

I've been shopping at Welle Auto Supply since the mid 70s ... back when they were on Central Ave just south of 694 (& back when Rick was still behind the counter!). Even though their current store is well out of my way, they're still my "Go To" for hard to solve problems! Case in point, I had a rear wheel bearing go out that needed replacing. I pulled the bearing and went to the other "big box" auto stores. Every replacement bearing they pulled off the shelf didn't match what I had pulled off. I even had the bearing Mfgr and P/N from the old bearing ... none of them could help me. Off to Welle I go where I had Chris Bowdich help me. We went 'round & 'round for a good 30 minutes looking up P/Ns, cross referencing, etc., etc. Still nothing. I go home empty handed BUT ... Chris calls me

Customer Service here is top notch. John is very knowledgeable and willing to share what he knows. He helped me color match my car and everything. Great guys and good place to buy paint. It’s good paint but expensive.
