West Coast Auto Service

I've been going to West Coast Auto for over 3 years now, consistently. I was recommended them through a relative a few years back and even another mechanic's shop before I first went there. It was probably the best advice I've ever been given when it comes to my car. I have an older vehicle, very high mileage, that I'm really attached to and a lot of things break or just need to be changed out due to wear over the years. The folks at West Coast Auto have never done me or my family, who now also take their vehicles there, wrong. The manager, Carlos, takes the time to explain to you what exactly is wrong with the vehicle, even drawing out detailed images to explain what is going wrong and where. My son had taken his car to 4 different mechanic shops, none of them were able to figure out what the problem was. We went to West Coast Auto Service, Carlos found the problem and fixed it. We are so grateful and happy with his service. We are definitely recommending him to our friends.

I wouldn’t recommend going to this shop sketchy smog tech with hidden fees and bad customer service. There are far more better places in the area save yourself the money and time and stay away from this shop.

My car broke down when I was working while I was out seeing patients and I was seen in 15 minutes. Had to leave my car over the weekend but it was fixed by 3pm Monday and was given a fair and honest price. Thank you sooo much for your honesty and kindness.

I had an appointment at 2pm. I was in the day before. I was charged for a failed smog. I gave him my phone number to call me if there was going to be any changes to the appointment. He told me to drive the car for 2 hours before I brought it in. I drove all up and down the 101 and wasted 50$ in gas so the sensors would he warmed up. I did this because he told me to. I wasted a whole day and over 100$. He was there when I showed up but told me he was closing early and wouldn't do the smog. Wasted all of that money and time for nothing. I rearranged my entire day and took the day off from work. So if you add it all up I lost over $600 total. Terrible experience.
