West Kendall Toyota Service

I made my regular appointment for today. Joaquin took care of me right away, he was very attentive, Lukas did my inspection, so clear and fast and they called me right after. I highly recommend them

After coming in just once for manufacturer-subsidized maintenance, I became inundated with mail and phone calls from their service center promoting a "service contract" that will supposedly help pay for maintenance costs after the manufacturer's maintenance promo expires. I have zero interest in such a contract as I already know of a trusted neighborhood service center that charges reasonably. Even after responding to one such call and saying that I am not interested, I continue to receive pestering letters from West Kendall Toyota in the mail. Having said all of that, the actual servicing was superior in terms of communication and timeliness when compared to a competing manufacturer's service facilities.

I have been a loyal Toyota customer for many years, with five Toyotas in my family, all purchased and serviced at West Kendall Toyota. Unfortunately, my recent service visit was the worst experience I’ve had with any dealership. During a 5,000-mile inspection, my advisor Josue quoted me $250 over the phone and I approved the work. When I returned, the bill was $448. When I questioned this, he rudely said “it’s recorded” but then I guess conveniently could not be found . After wasting time with a manager name Vanessa , the bill was only reduced by $100 — no real accountability.abd only because a new manager name Eric vanilla intervine. This is my second Camry. My first one lasted 18 years due to the amazing service at West Kendall Toyota. I have had my second Camry for 5 years and the service continues to be fantastic! My service advisor - Joaquin Lopez is most professional and helpful! I trust his recommendations. He is knowledgeable, takes the time to discuss and explain his suggestions, and has a great attitude. I have been coming to West Kendall Toyota since 2012 for service and this year has proven to be the most disappointing of all. Unfortunately the service and care here is at a decline. I have loved coming to service my car here despite a bit of an upcharge but this year has shown me that it is time to change mechanics. After finding out several charges such as 3% for using a credit card (with no prior notice) and a diagnostic fee that was be taken off IF you chose to go forward with the suggested procedure but then told NO it only qualified for some services I have found this place to unethical with their customer service.
