My son had some kind of rodent or poltergeist eat a bunch of wires out of his small foreign-made truck, to the point that it wouldn't run anymore. Other mechanics kind of turned up their nose at the job. Too hard to do, too hard to find parts, etc. But James at Winkler Auto took it on and fixed it back, wire-by-wire. He didn't need to wait to find the just-right wiring harness or part, he just fixed it bit by bit. James saved us. People were talking about totaling out this old truck and I certainly do not want to buy another used car with things the way they are currently. Definitely recommend James.

Excellent repair shop. I didn't know any mechanics around here. A friend recommended Naboznys, but they don't work on foreign cars. They sent me to Winkler and I'm fairly certain I'll use him again. The mechanic was knowledgeable and friendly. I had belts, timing belt, pullies, and water pump replaced on an 2004 Xterra. The price was right, and service was fairly quick. Winkler only repair foreign cars, and I'm fairly certain only Japanese cars. Great experience all around. I'll definitely recommend this place for Nissan, Honda, and Toyota work. I asked him about my Prius which also needs work. He even works on those. I'll definitely be back.

I am not a happy customer. Had my car towed to this man in May. He replaced the alternator and battery. He took my brand new battery that I had just purchased 3 weeks prior and sent it in for a core charge for the new one that he had me buy. I asked for it back and he didn't have it. When I picked up my car my car locks didn't work, my radio was fried, and none of the electric ignition stuff works. Plus, there was a dent in the back of my car that wasn't there prior to sending it there for service. Nothing was ever offered to make it right. Don't go there. It will cost you more in the long run.

Trustworthy! We drive an hr away to bring our vehicle's for service. James has never steared us wrong and even helped suggest our family van when we bought it a few years ago.
