Woodmoor Sinclair- Service Center

Thought the crankshaft seal was leaking, but turned out to be a water pump. I called back and asked if the thermostat should be replaced at the same time. For the Jeep, the t-stat is not incorporated within the water pump like other cars. However, given they were draining the coolant - unprompted - Nick offered to waive some of the labor cost for the t-stat since they were already doing most of that with the water pump. I have only used them a few times, but Nick’s knowledge, customer service, and willingness to waive labor costs show they’re willing to do what’s right to get the job done, at a reasonable cost, and make the customer happy.

I left a very positive review about 3 years ago, maybe 4. At that time it was a different manager (Cody?…something like that) and they did a nice job on my truck, at a reasonable price. They even called the next day to make sure everything was good. Flash forward and based on my prior experience I recommended this place to my son and his wife. They got a fair estimate, the shop had it a week, then called to say they decided the job (replacing water pump) was going to take too long for their tech to complete so could they please “come pick up their car”. You know, the same car that had a broken water pump and couldn’t be driven. Warning on the mechanic shop at Sinclair on Woodmoor drive. My dad had them replace his brakes the other week. It was not done correctly, and almost caused a crash. Les Schwab took one look and said the Sinclair shop put on double washers and the brake fluid was dirty, and dirty grease. We’ve used Sinclair for years and this is the first time we have had an issue. They would not refund the labor, we would have been happy to pay for the parts they used. They were not at all helpful. Will never go back to them. This is a HUGE safety issue, shoddy work like this kills people and causes crashes.

Fast turn around...same day. Worked hard to make it right. Friendly service. Definitely will come back.

The clutch on my jeep went out in a snowstorm and without these guys I would have been totally stranded. They not only repaired my car, they really helped me in a scary moment. They fixed my clutch - it was even less expensive than they had quoted! - and I couldn’t be happier! I plan on driving from Denver whenever my car needs something done. Thank you again!
