Absolute best auto body I've ever encountered, and I've met and worked with many! My highline special vehicle needed a full panel replacement and structural straightening after it was attacked by an oak tree. Now it's impossible to tell which panel is new, absolutely perfect metallic paint matching, factory rivet matching, and glue matching. I'm so dang happy about this. These guys do collector cars restoration work, and production car insurance work. They are genuinely on the same automotive near autism spectrum that all us most discerning enthusiasts are on also. I've never in my life felt comfortable recommending an auto body business before. Works is the top of the pyramid. You'll pay extra for this all, but not as much as you might think.

The Works Auto Body experience was excellent!! I brought in a new 2024 high spec Range Rover after a neighbor had backed into me. The Works Auto Body came highly recommended to me and the experience and results exceeded my expectations. This is not easy to do. Their communication and customer care was above and beyond! I highly recommend The Works Auto Body to anyone needing an excellent result on a car repair. These guys are the very best!!

I have a 2012 Mercedes convertible that was having an air leak creating noise and cold air when the top was closed. I took it to the dealership at Stevens Creek - they kept the car for 4 days, charged me $300 and said the solution was replacing the top at a cost of $6K. Works Auto Body (Josh) - took a look and said the preliminary assessment was the top had been constructed with two panels that were glued together, and that glue had worn out, creating a gap that lead to the air leak/noise. Solution was to dismantle the top and glue the panels back together. Preliminary estimated cost of $500 but could go up to $900 if more labor was need to dismantle and re-assemble the parts. Came back after two days saying it did not need the extra labor with a bill of $450. I picked up the car and

I visited/interviewed a number of body shops in the area, but none struck me as competent enough to deal with my specialty car and my unique needs. I think this shop is the ONLY place in the bay area that could be trusted to do the job correctly. They had my car for a few months, but worth the wait. Excellent attention to detail and they understand the needs of a car enthusiast. Great repair work and customer service. Thank you.

They get the job done WELL and if there are any issues they can fix them on the spot. Thus was recommended by my mechanic's shop and it's the only place I go. Water-based paint only. Seems to take longer than necessary to finish the work, however.
