Was told a bill was going to be around $700 and about a couple hours more time to repair for additional work to be done, took two days, and they wanted to charge me over a thousand dollars!!! Service manager said I’ll knock it down to a thousand and you should be happy we are treating you right! The service writer was there and told him we I was right even. Be very aware and get it in writing these jerks are no good on their word. You’ve been warned next time I’ll go to the TA.

This team has to be the nicest team I’ve ever done business with as an owner operator. I went to have my ac compressor replaced, and was blown away by the attitudes of the employees. First, I called the day before to verify the availability of the parts and the price. When I arrived the following day, everything was exactly as I was told on the phone — no deceptive tactics to lure me in like most other shops. Second, while I waited in the driver lounge for the repair, and I’m not kidding when I say this, EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE WHO WALKED INTO LOUNGE SAID GOOD MORNING! The job was performed perfectly, and the price was exactly what they told it would be — no surprises. I had an ongoing issue with the Smart APU air conditioner on my Freightliner truck, which runs on batteries to keep the sleeper cool without using the engine. I visited multiple TA truck stops, but no one could figure out why it wasn’t working. Finally, at Young Freightliner in Canton, OH, I found a team that got it done right. Technicians Joe, Rager, and their colleagues were outstanding. They ran a thorough diagnostic, ordered the necessary parts in advance, and fixed the issue quickly despite their busy schedule. Their attention to detail, empathy for my situation (I run a dedicated route with a tight schedule), and efficient work without delays were impressive. I have only dealt with service, but absolutely amazing staff. Old school freightliner, pet friendly, not like the new ones and very grateful for that.
