Bad experience at the car wash– almost scammed 🚨 / Mala experiencia - Casi me estafan ❌🚫 Today, I took my car for the VIP service, as I usually do, and asked for the seats to be cleaned. The price I’ve always paid is $75 (the last time was on July, confirmed by the cashier in their records). However, today when I got the receipt, it said $95. When I questioned it, the cashier sent me to talk to the manager, who told me that prices had “gone up.” In less than two months, a $25 increase. To me, that’s a clear attempt at scamming. This isn’t the first time either. Back in July, they also tried to trick me: I asked for the VIP with seats, but the man who gave me the receipt said it only covered the floor, not the seats. I know that the machine makes the 90% of the work but it’s sad when the guys outside finish their work really fast and they don’t do it really well, because they just are waiting for another car, I didn’t like the finish details that they did. I paid less in another places and I got a better job.

Great service, the shop mechanics have a genuine interest for the care of your car. They show you, point out the deficiencies and you decide if you wanna get it done or not. They work with you to help you reach your needs and are very efficient to get the job done in a teamwork environment as soon as possible.

I have been bringing all my vehicles to Zap Lube Union City for oli changes and other fluid changes going back years. I just took my new vehicle for service this past Saturday. Always professional service and the technicians are knowledgeable and take time to explain fully, which is always a plus.
