Zips Car Wash

Horrible experience. Card machine was DOWN. So a young kid with an iPad was trying to run my card for a wash. After the third attempt he had a manager come over and work it out. He assured me that my card was only charged once. Then they line me up for the automatic wash. Neutral. Hands off the wheel. The machine pushes my car about three or four feet in, then nothing. A minute goes by, maybe two. I beep. Another minute, I beep some more…. The manager swings back and says it’s broke. They back me out and tell me to come back later when they’ve gotten it going again. While I’m parked by the vacuums hand wiping the soap that sprayed on my windshield, the manager came over to tell me it was ready to try again. This car wash damaged my car. The manager was rude and not understanding about my newer vehicle being damaged. Instead of saying sorry or trying to figure out what may have caused the damage, so no other vehicles suffer the same fate, he just pointed to the sign and said they were not responsible. I was a little heated because he was not listening to me, and I did raise my voice, but when I did the threatened to throw me off property. When I attempted to get the name and number of his District Manager, he refused. He did not provide me with his name. My initial encounter with him was when he went to get my part from inside the wash, on his way out he said "you can unfold your arms"! What?! This guy is no manager and this place is not a good wash. Would leave 0 stars if I could, I noticed the 3 spots of paint missing 2 on the driver door and one on the fender behind the driver side first wheel. While doing a full walk around of the car I noticed the hood wasn’t even clean. I had signed up for the discounted membership plan, I let the guys there know I have a tree that drips sap so the best plan was probably my best option overall, they agreed and got me signed up. Going into the wash I was told I needed an alignment due to my wheels position and got sent on my way. After, I rolled my window down to adjust my mirror back in place and headed home.
