Zumbrota Auto Repair

On the way home from work I drove into the ditch during a rough winter storm. Blowing snow obscured the road and I lost track of where the road was. I called 911 and the dispatcher contacted Berg’s Towing and Repair. They sent a driver out the 20 miles or so, they the same winter storm, to drag my vehicle out of the ditch no questions asked. I want to recognize the heroic efforts of the driver, Bob, that came and braved the cold temps and blowing snow (see picture) to get me back on the road. It took a few tries but he got me free but that was because my vehicle was stuck pretty good. Without the efforts of courageous people like Bob it would have been much worse for me. Also, a big shout out to the state trooper who braved the same weather, in a Dodge Charger (I think), to provide

If I can, I would leave this as a no star or have this place shut down. Non-local beware! My husband and I are not local. My husband's car would not start after trying to get it jumped at Zumbrota high school which is a few blocks away from Berg's towing. Called the tow truck who worked with Berg's towing. Great guy. He knows what he is doing and figured out what was wrong with it just by the sound it made. Flat rate to get it towed to their shop $130. If we bring it to the shop, they will give us a discount on the tow. Who wouldn't take that offer. Brought the car in Thursday morning 7AM. Tow guy said they won't be able to look at it until Friday. Friday comes, I called the shop, Berg said the car is up in the shop. Hopefully Saturday they will give us a diagnostic and estimate. Awesome

My engine died just outside of town, leaving me on the side of the highway with my family and dog. They sent a tow truck out right away and organized a second truck so that the whole family could get out of danger. They drove me to Rochester to three different car rentals, until we found an available car. We were back on the road in a couple of hours from complete engine failure! They held my car for a few days until I could arrange transport. Very helpful.

Awesome place. We had a flat on the way to Rochester. They were very friendly and took care of our flat tire. Very reasonable price. Great place to deal with
