111 Salvage

Was going to get an engine from here..made the initial call and asked if they could load into the back of a Jeep Liberty.. We were told yes they just wouldn't be able to keep it on the pallet. So I put the down payment to hold of $150. A few days later they called me back and said it was ready for pickup... We go to pick up the engine and pay the rest of the amount. We pull up to the gate and we're told they can't load it into our vehicle ..well I'm sorry sir but a few days ago we asked for this specific reason and was told yes you could. So I had to return the engine. The worst part is they still kept the $150 for restock fee that wasn't our fault to start with. Won't be going back. Bad business.

Very disappointed in this yard. I had been told to visit this yard for years and refused to add another yard to my list. Finally made my first trip there and it was a huge let down. Vehicles are very picked through. Very few decent parts remain on the cars in the yard. Not a good variety of cars. Parking lot is a mess to get in and out of. Prices are on the high side. Nothing positive to say about this place really and thats coming from a person that loves trips to the yards. I won't go back to this one.

"This is a complete garbage junkyard. They take too long to pick up parts like engines; they make you wait a long time, and it's just not worth it. A lot of the engines have been bad, and on top of that, they don't refund your money—they just make you spend all your money there. It's a total and complete mess."

Very disappointed in the fact that all the cars are mixed up the foreign cars, the American cars and to make your time more wasted cause time is valuable. I’m trying to get parts for a vehicle and I need to know do you have it and he said well guys just go back there and they just look around and see if they can find it. I don’t have time to drive somewhere And waste time out of my day to come here once a day or once a week just to see if my car is here I need an inventory and they said NO we just crushed so many cars so quickly we don’t have time to even run an inventory cars typically stay here about a week. It sounds like it’s more of a scrapyard than an auto salvage. They’re not recycling anything they’re just crushing cars for a landfill. Maybe recycling any aluminum or cast-iron. Th

$2 Entry per person: cash and card accepted. Decent staff. Bring your own tools, but be aware they'll search your tool bag before you continue. Wheel barrows to haul your stuff. Big-rock gravel, so wear protective shoes. Cars, trucks, and trailers for days! Wheels in decent condition also for sale near the entrance. Important note: you may or may not have cell service while out in the salvage yard. Porta Potty available near entrance.
