I had plenty of options for where to take my vehicle, but I chose 4th Street Auto Care because of their pricing, reputation, and turnaround time. I couldn’t be happier with that decision. They got the work done quickly, explained everything clearly, and treated us with respect the entire time. What stood out most was that they identified a few issues I wasn’t even aware of, but there was zero pressure. No upselling, no scare tactics. They simply pointed things out, explained why they mattered, and helped us put together a plan so we could financially prepare for them over time. Based solely on my first experience at 4TH Street Auto and not driving a lot of miles since the oil change and new battery, I'm really happy with the personal care and vibe from this neighborhood auto care business. As a longtime dealership guy for all our auto needs, the cost and distance became prohibitive if not inconvenient. Bill and the service tech folks were terrific to work with and we will continue to support this outstanding Royal Oak neighborhood auto shop.

I towed my car to 4th St Auto with an electrical/ no start issue. Bill the service advisor was excellent in the communication with me and explaining the repair my vehicle needed. Terry (owner) and his crew of top notch technicians did an excellent job in the repairs and showing me exactly what the cause of my electrical issue was. 4th Street Auto is an excellent place to get all your auto repairs and maintenance items taken care of. Just moved into the neighborhood and needed an oil change. A friend recommended 4th street auto care. I was very impressed with the transparency and truly appreciate the honesty. They also had a warm room to wait for my car. My jeep is young but well over 100k miles. Bill pointed out something to consider about servicing in the near future, that helps me plan ahead.
