5 Star Auto Service

I was referred to 5 Star Auto Service by Lee's Fleet Service many years ago after the owner {Lee} passed away. His wife {Lindy} worked at the local USDA office. She helped me buy a fixer-upper home with $100 down and a USDA Loan, grants and classes. She passed away also, sadly. Roseburg no longer has a USDA office for the families of Douglas County. 5 Star is AWESOME! When you go into the office you are treated really good. You always know you are welcome and one of the 5 Star family. I have been with 5 Star at least since 2007. The man at the front who helps you always makes you feel welcome. He is very knowledgeable about cars and is really good at scheduling appointments. He makes sure I have an oil change once a year. The lady in another office makes you feel like you are at home, too.

While having a a tire rotation and alignment done, the mechanic noticed that two of my lugs were missing and one was broken off. I'm glad I made the appointment because this is a very dangerous situation as I drive all over the state for work. Richard was able to locate a new hub and get me back on the road and complete the rest of the work quickly. These guys are fantastic.

I dropped my coolant reservoir cap into the engine area and asked them help to find it. They helped me with their flashlights and jack, then we got it! They also didn’t charge me for that. They were very friendly and helpful. Thank you so much!

I highly recommend 5 Star Auto Service. They accurately diagnosed my Mercedes Sprinter van's EGR valve problem. They got me in right away because I was stranded in Roseburg and helped me find camping near by. I believe their Manager, Richard, is an honest and compassionate guy and their lead mechanic is brilliant and easy to understand. This Service Shop truly wanted to help me and did not try to sell me on something I didn't need. In a world of crooks, these guys are a welcome relief! Thank you so much 5 Star Auto!

I’m pretty new here and was referred to this shop but I’m unsure if they treat people with lots of funds differently but I feel like they were trying to take advantage of me and still did! I’m glad I got my car towed to Stickees mobile maintenance & repair where I actually got the help I needed. I wasted so much time at this shop because they tried to rip me off on parts so I ordered everything they said I needed at a fraction of the cost and waited for it but still was charged too much for labor which is originally why I chose to move it because I didn’t have the extra funds. But after finding out more was wrong with it when it got to Stickees after I already paid an inspection fee really pissed me off because why wasn’t I told exactly everything that I needed if you’re going to pay a fee
