After hitting a deer I checked with different body shops in the Northwoods, we are so glad that we chose 70 West Body Shop. Great service and super nice people to work with. Here are a few pics of the repairs and we are very happy with the results. Highly recommend!
Disappointing experience at 70 West Body Shop. Melissa initially offered a 10% discount for using a debit card, but later added an unexpected $50 fee. The repair process for my Chevy Equinox involved multiple errors while coordinating with Curt from Eagle River Service Center. Despite claims of acting as a helpful intermediary, Melissa seemed to work against my interests. Communication was poor throughout, and the final bill included surprising charges. The overall experience left me feeling misled and frustrated. Based on this encounter, I cannot recommend their services.
The people seemed nice but I was not happy with the experience as a whole. There was a lot of miscommunication and mistakes on their end. My car ended up at another shop for 2 weeks for a bad dash cluster that ended being perfectly fine. There is orange peel and some thin spots around some edges of the paint. There was also a few spots where it was buffed incorrectly leaving microscratches and haze patches. I did not bother taking it back again because all said and done I was without my car for over a month with multiple trips back and forth. This was minor deer damage.
Chris has serviced our auto repairs for a good number of years. The car always comes back looking like new. He and his staff are always cordial, and we’ve observed excellent working relationships with insurance adjusters. We’d highly recommend the quality and service that they provide. If you want your car body work restored to ‘brand new’ give 70 West Body Shop a call. Sam Mule
