Once again Frank and Elite Auto Body Shop put a dang smile on my face! I got side swiped while trying to parallel park in Brooklyn today damaging my entire front left of my brand new Mazda. Called the shop right away, since I entrust him from a similar incident of a fender bender, and he took me in right away. Frank took the time to call each distributor for necessary parts which demonstrated clarity and honesty. Then did everything he could to fix my scratches and dents without having to perform the full getup which would have ran me up a lot of money that I don’t have since I’m a student. Shop Name: 9W Auto Body 157 Person Involved: Ruben Garcia Two weeks ago, Ruben G. purchased an A/C compressor from our business. Recently, he returned claiming the part was no good. Despite no proof and no diagnosis, we offered a replacement unit in good faith. What happened next is what everyone needs to know: Ruben sent his mechanic, who openly told our office that his boss does this to every junkyard—buys parts, gets a receipt, charges his own customer, and then returns the part just to get the money without using it. According to his own employee, this is a routine scam. When I learned this, I asked to speak directly with Ruben. I offered to give him another part, but I made it clear I wanted to meet him in person and take his picture so others in our industry could be warned. Ins
