Stay away from this place . I want there for NY inspection . He took the key from me and I was waiting inside. Not sure what he did , he came back abs said I need to replace the battery as my vehicle is not starting . I never had that issue till that time. I asked him to jump start my car and I drove back home . They got all tricks to make you pay. Stay away

I work across the street and needed a muffler repair. I called and spoke to the owner Khalid who was very friendly and knowledgeable. The staff was great and they were able to have my car fixed and ready for me to ride home. Honest pricing and great, fast work. North Star will be my go-to from here on out!

In this area there are several auto body and repair shops in a row which makes it easy to compare prices and get multiple estimates (if your car is still running). A neighboring shop wanted around 50% more money to do the same repair. I informed the owner of North Star that I wanted a second opinion because my previous estimate seemed high. Because the price quoted was so reasonable here compared to the other shop, as well as being a good deal based on research using online pricing tools, I chose North Star. The work was done at precisely the price quoted. The staff even did some additional work in removing and repositioning a stuck seat, a somewhat difficult project that they did not even charge me labor for. Very honest, kind, and knowledgeable mechanic who cares about your car and your well being over his profits. He’s worked on my car for a couple of years. He always explains in layman’s terms what’s the problem with the car is, so you understand and know what to look for in the future. He’s able to fix your car usually quickly (in the same day sometimes if you get in early) and gets the parts needed usually in a very short amount of time. My family and I trust him whole heartedly. You will too.
