I brought my 2014 Toyota Camry in for a transmission service today. This car was a gift to me so there is a lot of sentimental value here. All routine maintenance have been completed except for today’s service. I was extremely hesitant on doing the service since Toyota has stated this fluid is a “lifetime” fluid. I have no issues with the car or transmission, so if its not broken why mess with it. With said, and how long I want to keep this car. I took the risk and had it done. The team is extremely communicative when troubleshooting issues to help get issues on our cars fixed. The team delivers on or earlier than communicated time even when they are busy and walks us through what they fixed. Tri fixes only what’s actually needed and provides warnings, if any, he takes care of in the next service. We are very thankful to have found him and the team!

Honest and Reasonable! I found A-1 Japanese Autocare very honest on diagnosing problems and very reasonable on cost estimates for the needed repairs. I recently took my car to a local dealer for a safety recall. The recall was free but the dealer gave me a long list of things I need to repair which would cost me about $4,000. I selectively agreed with the dealer to fix some critical items and paid them about $1,000. I then took my car to A-1 Japanese and had them go through the remaining items which costs me less than $450 (vs $3,000 estimated by the dealer!). It was my first time trying this repair shop since my regular mechanic is too far. I was truly touched by the kindness of the workers and the way they treated me. They even showed me the parts that were changed and took the time to explain my car issues. It’s hard to trust mechanics these days since everything feels like a business, but they were honest, truthful, and transparent. They honored their work and their word, and did a great job.
