A-1 Transmission Auto Repair

Replaced a flywheel on Ford F150, it failed only a few months later. When it was picked up, the price kept creeping up , up and up until it was $500 over what was quoted, He was rude when I called him back saying it must be the starter which a good mechanic would know when installing a flywheel they must make sure the starter and flywheel are installed correctly. Wanted to charge me for a new flywheel (which has a year warranty), new starter and another $1000 for labor. Failure on his part to install correctly. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE here, very full of himself and not honest.

Took my Jeep there to have Front pump seal put in my transmission in my jeep said the transmission was burnt up and needed to be rebuilt price went from $1000-$3000. They had it for almost 2 months before I got it back then it was not shifting right, took it back to them. Had it another month got it back still had the same problem. They told my Aunt the problem was my catalytic converter and O2 sensors were bad. They replaced them transmission still not shifting right took it back to them again for a third time because reverse went out they went through the transmission again, got the jeep back my daughter drove it to the store put it in park while she was in the store. The jeep rolled backwards and hit a park car when you put it in park if it’s on any kind of incline, it will roll forward

This place was recommended to me so i took my vehicle for transmission issues. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. I can write an essay about everything that went wrong. Long story short Jeff the owner doesn't keep his word on prices and he avoided mentioning he doesn't take credit cards - CASH ONLY. He only mentioned it until after the car was repaired and ready for pickup.

Great customer service and friendly staff. They rebuilt my transmission 2 years ago & did a great job. Transmission is still strong no problem’s at all. Bill was more then quoted by a few hundred so couldn’t get extended warranty but luckily I haven’t had no problems. Highly recommend for transmission rebuilt, my was the famous 4l60e. Monster transmission built a bulletproof 4l60e that didn’t last 5 months for me A1 transmission rebuilt mine and still strong 2 years later. Bringing in another truck with same trans for rebuilt soon…
