A C T Auto Parts & Garage

I had initially gone to a different mechanic in Ohio who I spent a decent sum of money to fix something with my alternator/electrical system. Unfortunately, two days later after a couple hundred miles into a road trip to SC, I lost my power steering twice. I got the car towed to Eddie's shop (ACT) over the weekend and I rented a car to complete my journey. I ended up leaving my car there for a week until I could come back that way. I called Eddie first thing Monday and he was able to accurately root cause the issue which was a loose power cable on the battery terminal -- something I think the first mechanic missed. He was incredibly friendly through the whole process, one of those kind people that feels like a friend I've known forever even though I'd only talked to him on the phone. He wa

ACT Auto Parts was highly recommended to me by a family member & I will highly recommend them to anyone!! I needed new rear brake pads & rotors and the price Eddie quoted me beat the dealership's price by MORE THAN ½ the cost!! 😮 And he provides a 1 year warranty! Mechanic Mike does excellent work!! I felt like I was treated like family from the start!! They are very professional, respectful, and honest people! Just recently, I felt like I was having an issue with my front brakes/rotors, which were installed by a DIFFERENT auto shop a year and ½ ago. When I went to the shop to explain what was going on, he scheduled me for 2 weeks later and said he'd "give me a call with an estimate for the job!!! I can't say enough kind words. They are truly honest, never overpriced, and have excellent service. I have referred friends and family, and no one has been disappointed. I will never bring my car anywhere else.

Honest, Reliable, and Trustworthy. Great mechanics and people.

My wife was traveling out of state when our new alternator failed. I called ACT Auto Parts in Beckley, WV, and they were able to look at the van the same day. I had her towed there, and the proprietor had her in and out with a new alternator within just a few hours. The price was very fair, and the service was courteous and professional. Highly recommend ACT Auto Parts for their prompt and efficient service!
