A & J Towing

I had some tire problems around midnight one night in Glynn County and eventually was told to call a wrecker. I called this establishment and the first problem is they only accept cash on arrival which is super inconvenient in a moment of need. I would recommend getting a Square card reader or at the least, cashapp. Upon arrival, the guy working on my car was super experienced. He knew what to do, helped me get my spare, and quickly changed it. Now, the only true complaint I have for this is the price. I was charged 75$ for about 10 minutes of labor. Let me remind you that I had my own spare, he simply changed it. I was told after that that the price was just about a scam.. In a moment of need, there’s not much arguing to be done but to be taken advantage of is a bit disappointing.

Don't use this place! I called and spoke to the owner twice and asked if they could send a locksmith I had locked my keys in my car, they sent a young guy out and he broke not one but BOTH sides of my car window pillars. Not once was I told that I would be responsible for any damage THEY cause. Nor did I think they would break both sides of my car doors. I called and tried to reason and just ask why I was not told or aware that they could just come bust up my car but I'm responsible? He just spoke over me and told me to take him to court over and over. If you're going to damage someone's car then maybe let them know y'all won't be taking any responsibility for the damage or repair. Not once did anyone say those words to me. Not the right way to run a business.

Once again A. & J. Towing helped me with prompt service but also saved me money by the driver's good advice. I was sure my starter was dead and planned to have it towed to a repair shop to replace the starter. The driver suggested that the battery be charged. That was the problem. He said the starter was fine. He then suggested I go to an auto parts store and buy a new battery which the parts store would install. I did what he suggested. He saved me the cost of labor and parts for a started that I didn't need.

Ridiculously terrible business. My vehicle broke down around 1:00 PM. A & J was supposed to pick it up around 2:20. However, they weren’t “en route” until then, with a new ETA of 3:55. They then did not show, and I was advised “Al” would call us with an updated ETA. He did not, so I called them. Upon introducing myself and asking how the employee who answered the phone was doing, he advised me he did not have time talk. Can’t emphasize it enough, horrible towing company.

Prompt. Courteous. Everything you would want from a towing company. Would absolutely use them again!
