A1 Smog & Repair

Came here for a smog and Eduardo told me I could apply to receive financial aid to fix my car !!!!!! Yes you heard that right I didn’t even know, no one had told me until I came here. He told me his shop is the only one in Pomona who can get fast response and yes he did. He helped me apply to the Consumer Assistance Program (CAP) and I qualified. I applied that day qualified that day and got my car fixed that day. !! Drove my car returned later and he smogged my car and it passed all in ONE day !!! Honest, fast and the best thank you !!!

I will start by saying …I asked them how to leave a Review and complementing them on their excellent customer service. After spending an afternoon at the DMV, I found I had to have the smog checked. The shop is less than a block from Pomona DMV. The rates were reasonable and they were done very quickly. When they finished with the smog, they asked me if they could remove the license plates for me because I would have to turn them in when I went back. Which of course, was very helpful because they were still on my car and I had no idea I was going to have to do that. Not just that, they went one step further and said when they It give you the new plates if you stop back by, we’ll put them on for you. I was in shock. When I went back for them to install my license plates for me at no charge,

This guy refused to do my smog check, after he failed it knowing the vehicle was good. He kept mentioning it will fail when i know it would not and he gave excuse after excuse. the car was perfect he just wanted purposely fails. He told me to run cycles that did not need to be ran when all monitors were complete. and on top of that he failed my car again without letting me know or invoicing me

I took my car to Eduardo at A1 Smog and Repair since he was 1 of 3 shops I was given as a referral. I decided to chose his shop after reading reviews from female customers who like me have dealt with many unscrupulous mechanics. THEY WERE RIGHT....HE IS VERY ETHICAL! It is refreshing to discover, there are mechanics who will not rob you blind. Best of all. He is an incredible teacher and knows how to explain what's wrong with your car and what he's going to do to fix it. I would give him ten stars if I could! I have already referred him to other people and will be returning for future services.
